Design leadership that delivers quality, innovation and efficiency, for the long-term.
I’m a creative, strategist and designer, specialising in branding, brand strategy, creative vision and direction, storytelling, design and building efficient teams focused on consistently delivering high quality.
I’m also a smashing guy.
Hello
As a digital creative, illustrator, designer, website and brand strategist, I thrive on innovation and ingenuity.
With a down-to-earth and unpretentious approach, I'm fueled by curiosity and generating fresh ideas.
A self-proclaimed process nerd, I love strategy, planning, joining the dots, creating structure, designing for purpose, and am dedicated to continuous learning and improvement.
Work
With years of projects and clients behind me, it’s tempting to seek to seduce you, dear reader, with big names and logos you’ll recognise.
It’s more important to me though, that I demonstrate what I’ve done and can do, than it is to name-drop. But if we speak, I can name-drop like the best of them.
And for the record, I’d always rather present and explain my work than silently leave it here for you to interpret - it’s just better that way.
Experience
I’ve worked as Head of Design and in growing teams, building my experience as a digital creative at in-house roles, small-to-mid-sized and larger London agencies.
I’m a capable conceptual designer with deep experience in large, complex digital projects, from beginning to end, as well as a billion other small ones.
I'm strong on brand and brand strategy, helping an organisation how to best express who they are and how they operate in words, copy and visuals is what gets me going.
I'm also fanatical about putting structure around design, in building a system to accommodate design, mapping the creative and technical processes required for a successful team to function and grow.
I’ve written and developed full and comprehensive design, production, project management and digital project processes in detail, including process walk-throughs, templates and documentation. Ask, and I’ll show you.
